I'm a Brooklyn girl with a smattering of other influences.

I grew up in Brooklyn, NY, spent my high school years in Philly, then worked for a few non for profits around the country after graduating. I have a teachers certification and attended college on the side.

After HS, I taught on and off for 10 years searching for what I wanted to do and searching for me.

I met my husband at 23, we got married and had our beautiful daughter when I was 25.

The last 14 years, I tried many different careers and wore many different hats.

I like to be busy. I apprenticed at a culinary school and opened my own catering business – the biggest event I ever did was for 450 people.

It was amazing and I love to cook, but it wasn’t the right field for me. While I get joy from feeding people and coming up with recipes, I didn’t want to be a kitchen all day everyday.

Asaf (my husband) and I started a real estate brokerage a couple of months after we got married. I helped him build it up and loved certain aspects of real estate – like flipping – that I’m still involved with till today.

After my daughter was born, for the first time I gained weight that I couldn’t get rid of.

This was when my PCOS diagnosis actually started meaning something. I really wanted to lose the weight. So I hired a personal trainer and loved the idea of it and running your own business….

So I became certified and started working with people. I loved it. One of my frustrations was that – I would work out with a client, but they wouldn’t lose weight because their lifestyle and eating habits hadn’t changed.

So I went searching for a solution.

Around the same time we made a big move, from Brooklyn to Long Island, and I loved it there. The beach was bike able, the restaurants were awesome, and we had a great community and circle of people there.

Shortly after we moved, I hired a health coach. I

It was the best decision and changed my life - even now almost 3 years later.

I finally lost the 45 lbs I was struggling to lose for 5 years, and I finally my niche.

Now my biggest joy (aside from my family) is helping people get healthy – and then watching them help their families and change the trajectory of where their life is heading.

I’ve started this blog to share my journey through health, how I help others and all the other things I do.
